There may be a baby girl on the way, but knowing Meg there's apt to be more coral, peach, and raspberry than cotton candy pink in her future.
And even though I didn't report it yesterday (being more concerned with birthday matters), I did manage to finish the October strip of patches ...
with this one for October 31
which was (un)originally going to be "Driest October on record" as we had zero inches of rainfall. Fortunately, as I contemplated the long-ish blank hole at the end of the October strip, "A long dry patch" came to mind instead.
And even though I declared myself "back on track" in early November, I fell into a pit of despond after the election that has me further behind than ever. With the end of the year looming, I'm hoping I can pull up my boots and get moving on finishing both the November and December patches, starting with this one for November 1
But I've learned (the hard way) not to be overly optimistic, so we'll just see how it goes.
[Note to Hazel: the last two patches are both yellow linen ... which is why I share your despair about late afternoon lighting]
