After finishing my linen top called RAIN, I decided to contact Jimmy Davis and ask his permission to use the title of his song "It's only rain" since it had inspired the discontinuous rows of stitches that looked (to me) like streaks of rain on an old window screen. Permission granted ... thanks Jimmy!
