Nope, not the back … this is the front of my latest project: making placemats with scraps of thrifted linen clothing along with a few choice bits of hand-dyed cloth. It’s also giving me a chance to try my hand at half-square triangles, which have confounded me in the past.
And now that I’ve conceded to Google’s every demand, I can finally insert photos again. So maybe I am indeed “back” … we’ll see.

Beautiful idea and thre triangles look fine! Nice to catch you here
ReplyDeleteLove this!
ReplyDeleteThis was me Sue McQ - hah! Google! Love this placemat.
ReplyDeleteAny plate of food you put on this place mat, even leftover scraps (pun intended) is bound to be so delicious because the colors are so appetizing! Marti.

ReplyDeleteLiz~ Yay!!! I'm glad to see you here. Your placemat reminded me of Jude's drawing in her recent post - the bright colors and angles. Half-square triangles are such a simple idea, yet, I've never done it successfully. Yours look fine :). -Nancy
