- Time on my hands: As the yeast rises

Here's another sneak peek at an almost complete project ...


which I had time to photograph since I'm waiting for some yeast to activate ...


One of the (many) things I love about retirement is having the time to make bread. I use an old food processor that is just the right size for a couple of small rounds ... one for dinner, one for lunch salad croutons toasted on the mini griddler ...

  2. it's true, isn't it...if you keep going in any direction, you eventually end up at the shore.....!

    i have lost my touch with bread...need to find it....this is just so good to even only LOOK at....

    1. It's true, isn't it? Things like bread and pie crust are best made by touch, not recipes ... and our hands need practice to remember
