So goes January ...
|
Patch #31 I'm calling this obsessively small stuff "fussy stitching" |
one last patch, stitched in the 80 degree sun ...
then joining the flowers in the warmth close to the house ...
keeping good company ...
Addendum:
Backlighting was too fierce earlier, but now I have a picture of January hanging between my stitching windows ...
so now the butterfly.......
ReplyDeleteso that would be a challenge ...
DeleteITS Beauty Full this way and how amazing to me that this is January for
ReplyDeleteyou...January...just well, wow.
The other way of looking at it is we get one month each of autumn, winter, and spring (not necessarily consecutive days ... more like a month's worth of days scattered about) and the rest is summer.
DeleteP.S. We did set a record for high temperature yesterday
DeleteLove seeing your patches weaving through the wild. Eighty! I'm here in a wool sweater, socks & slippers!
ReplyDeleteAh well, a cold front is due tomorrow. We'll have to suffer through freezing nights, but afternoon highs in the 60s. I love Texas.
DeleteI like this idea of the long lengths of each month flying free like ribbons on a maypole
ReplyDeleteThe notion of letting cloth fly free never occurred to me before becoming a part of this community. And now it seems so obvious that I just shake my head in wonder.
