Retrospective (5/1/2016)
Of all the fun things we did in St Louis, listening to Jace learning how to repeat words was the biggest kick. Of course, it wasn't always intentional ... as my oft-repeated "No-No-No" whenever Jace headed for the mud puddle became his new favorite word(s).
The good thing is they were always said with laughter, so Patch #104 is destined to bring a smile whenever I see it ...
Note the little mud prints around the border of the patch and the mud puddle in the "grass."

Nonetheless, they were quickly abandoned when a real live back-up beep sounded ...
Oh boy! Another project for Nana-Pop-Pop (we are one word to the grandkids). Ever helpful, we helped spread two yards of mulch to good effect (having trimmed all the plantings the previous day) ...
Our reward? Pizza!
Followed by a brisk game of "No No No" (don't go in the mud puddle) with Jace ...
A hill climbing competition ...
And that perennial favorite, rolling back down ...
Great pics! Looks like everyone is having fun. We miss you!

Deletebeautiful boys!! C used to say that 'trucks were beeping up'. nice to be reminded of my own two tow-heads.
ReplyDeleteI bought trucks for my girls when they were kids ... they couldn't have cared less. The grandsons, on the other hand, love anything and everything vehicular. I shake my head at the wonder of it.
