I hereby invite my longtime friends in the blog world and the gentle people of St. Elizabeth’s (my new church home) to join me in speaking up for peace by wearing your feelings on your sleeve ... or your lapel, backpack, bag ... whatever. You can request your very own peace pin(s) in person or by leaving a comment below (and for those who are wondering, the peace pins are free).
As I did in 2017, I'd like to know what color speaks peace to you, but this time around you can also choose what two words you'd like to have on your pin. Perhaps you’re an educator and wish to “teach peace” … or you’re an artist who would like to “create peace” … maybe you would like to “learn peace” … or you hope to urge others to “try peace” … you may even want to inspire folks to “spread peace” …
Just two words can speak volumes … especially when the words speak your own truth. To see other peace pins that have already flown out into the world, just follow this link to Peace Pin Project.
If you request a peace pin in person, I will hand deliver it to you as soon as I am able. If you live out of town and wish to receive a pin by mail, please send an email to lizackert@gmail.com with your home mailing address along with the color and words you wish to have on your peace pin. To protect your privacy, please don’t put your contact information in the comments.
Thank you for joining me as I once again seek to stitch peace into the world, one pin at a time ...
P.S. If you should happen to give your peace pin away, I would be honored to create another for you … just ask.
