Which reminds me: Don gifted me with a sprightly little fellow at Christmas ...


At first I called him a right jolly old elf, but then a song from long ago and far away came back to me.

Yep, a perfect fit ...

    Enjoy your visit, Liz. Nothing better than spending time with our grandchildren, is there. Love the little fellow from Don. Wishing you a very Happy New Year. Looking forward to seeing all your new projects in 2016.

    Yes!! The Junior Birdman! That was a song we always sang in the car, complete with goggle gestures. Don's figure is perfect. So is your patch for today.

      I have no idea where I learned the song, but when I sang it for Don (complete with upside-down goggle fingers) he looked at me like I had just lost my mind (again).
