Well, as Saskia commented recently, Remember 2016 started with a single patch of cloth. So too will the new Remember quilts begin with these five patches, one for each grandchild.
I'm looking forward to seeing the quilts come together. I know it will be fun. (By the way, for whatever it's worth, I'm the same Stephanie who has commented from time to time, but Google no longer "recognizes" me.)
Click the peace pin picture to learn how the project began. To see more images of the original pins, which were sent to more than 70 individuals in half a dozen countries and 19 states in the US, scroll down to the INDEX and click on the PEACE PIN PROJECT link.

ReplyDeleteAwesome project. These will be life long treasures to pass down for each of the recipients. And, I know, each will be filled with stitches of LOVE!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement, Sue ... right now I'm frozen like a deer in the headlights, but I'm hoping to get a move on soon.
