Also sighted, these antelope horn milkweed seed pods about to open on the floodplain ...
On the family front, our St Louis daughter came to meet her new niece last Thursday ...
and took us (Meg, Don, and me) out to tea on Friday ...
She did put Parker down occasionally, including this slime-making session with G on Saturday (witnessed by G's class pet, named Bubblegum) ...
Then one more snuggle session on Sunday ...
before heading home ...
where she said the boys definitely looked bigger!
Joyful Auntie visit: Parker is so expressive, all of these photos with her special Aunt Melissa are a heart kiss. For me, the one photo that so touches me is the first photo. Parker, so alert, her tiny arm and hand on her Aunt's shoulder, holding on, Melissa looking down with such love and care and that little crease on Parker's upper arm, well, I just want to plant tiny kisses right there on her arm. Then we come to partners in crime, Auntie and nephew, happily having fun, creating slime and that brings such a chuckle. Family full circle.
ReplyDeletethat antelope horn milkweed is such a wild thing!
