Boys will be boys ...
And if the weather wasn't as sunny as usual, still there is nothing better than a walk on the beach ...
Unless maybe it's a bonfire with s'mores ...
or a trip to the aquarium ...
or a dip in the pool ...
or making cookie dough (with some baked cookie dough for those who prefer such things) ...
There was even some stitching on a family sampler long in the making, now nearing its end ...
All our grandchildren together for one last picture ...
until next year.
are you home? has a special parcel from Bronwyn arrived safely yet?
ReplyDeleteI love the non-holiday pix of children! Of them being themselves! Just like this one.
ReplyDeleteadore! especially the Aquarium shot
ReplyDeleteWhat a grand time!
ReplyDeleteMo - yes and yes ... thank you! And I'll be sending a couple of sea urchins pictures your way as I thought of you at the aquarium.
ReplyDeleteDee - The grandboys always make me smile ... and this was but one of many ways!
Hazel - time slipped through my fingers, and for every moment captured there were countless others
And Vicky ... thank you, too!
ReplyDeleteWhile not exactly a puppet show, the theatrical nature of wearing different sock puppets on each foot is quite a wonderful story! I find that time seems to become an instant when we are with our grand kids. The thought of 10 whole days with ours, first 5 days in Colorado at Rocky Mountain National Park and then 5 days here in New Mexico, felt like a good length of time. The reality is that it all went by in a flash... BUT photos and heart memories hold those moments as you have so lovingly shared here with us Liz and there is next year, for sure! As an aside, I love the scrumptious silliness and happiness of the photo of all of your grands - Logan holding Parker Mae,Jackson, Griffin and Jace, a treasured moment in time of the summer.
ReplyDeleteLiz...so good to see many happy moments and smiles! Blessings.
ReplyDeleteah, family and summer....
ReplyDelete... and the sea
ReplyDeleteMarti - After years of pursuing "perfect pictures" I now love the silliest ones best. And yes, time with grandkids goes way too fast, accelerating with each passing year.
ReplyDeleteSue - Welcome back
