Have lit my Mexican agave candle to send healing blessings to you dear Liz; it's bluish in color, possibly more turquoise than blue but then the Native Americans believe in the healing color of turquoise. Reminds me of the color of the rivers in Texas that are rimmed with limestone like the Guadalupe. The candle sits on a sunflower dyed cloth that has bits of blue and a smaller bluish cloth dyed from desert willow blossoms. Next to the candle, a truly blue object, an origami shaped little box made by my grandson and a small blue mandala from my Celtic mandala calendar. May it serve to keep us calm, to heal all of us in spirit and health and with the deepest hope that BLUE becomes the majority color of this day!
Aw Liz, I'm so sorry your sciatica isn't gone. What a drag it is! (I say this from experience.) I am rooting for Beto with all my heart. Soon we'll know if we are the people I think we are, or if Donald Trump has us pegged.
So the verdicts are in ... Beto will not (yet) be our senator from Texas and the MRI showed moderate-bordering-on-severe disk rupture impinging on the sciatic nerve.
Onward ... there will be new ways of going and I am optimistic about the future given the diverse new faces in the House of Representatives!
